Barbados is ideal for both couples and families and has plenty to offer, from relaxing on the beach to touring the island and discovering the caves and historical features the island has and with the island being only 21 miles long and 14 miles wide you get to see quite a lot!
In the day you may wish to book yourself activities such as a catamaran, swimming with turtles or going in to Bridgetown. All excursions can usually be booked via the internet or phone. Please note some companies may wish to take a deposit for this.

History on the island..

This is the oldest lighthouse in Barbados. It was brought to Barbados in 1852, one year after being shown at London’s Great Exhibition, and reassembled on the southernmost point of the island.
By night Barbados comes alive and has a fantastic vibe from listening to local bands play their steel bass drums or there are plenty of restaurants that offer fine dining on the island. Friday evenings in the 'World's Famous Oistins' is always a buzz as there is a local market for any souvenirs and some brilliant entertainment along with some local food.
